Hummus is a family favourite to add to snack, meals and salads.
Ingredients 1 can organic chickpeas 3 large cloves of garlic (chopped) The juice of 1 ½ lemons 3 large dessert spoons of unhulled tahini 1 tsp ground cumin (dry fried to release aromas) 1 tsp coriander seeds (dry fried to release aromas ¼ – ½ tsp cayenne pepper Splash olive oil Splash water Salt and pepper to taste
Method Place ingredient into a food processor and blend Serve with vegetable sticks, rice cakes or oat cakes for a nutritious protein enriched snack.
