Reg. Clinical Counsellor, PACFA

After 25 years in Public Relations, hungry for a new challenge, Jeanne dove into studying Counselling and Psychotherapy. Here she fulfilled a passion to help people and a rewarding outlet for her communication skills.

Loneliness

Jeanne works with a range of clients seeking to better understand themselves, become unstuck from persistent emotional states or problematic habits. Some are parents struggling with their teens or young adults’ intense emotions and harmful ways of coping. Others are trying to quieten negative thoughts, rules or events of the past.

Others are struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, stress, or lifespan issues such as infertility or ageing – or a combination. Trying to cope with relationship breakdowns, family conflict, and learn other coping strategies apart from avoidance, alchohol or denial.

Jeanne’s calm, warm approach provides a safe, non-judgemental space for clients to reflect and grow. Using an integrative approach, she draws from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy, CBT, plus Schema Therapy to help clients come to terms with past traumas and their impact on the present.

While life continues to throw curve balls, Jeanne helps clients grow through what they go through.

Jeanne is a Health Fund Recognised Provider with Medibank Private, AHM, BUPA, ARHG (including Police Health, etc).
