About Brian

I am a professional counsellor, psychotherapist and life coach who strives to have a warm, genuine and unconditional positive regard and rapport relationship with my clients. In my work I draw heavily on the many and varied academic and clinical practice areas of expertise. In addition, I sense that my life experiences and senior years dare I say, provides a good deal of practical wisdom to inform positive counselling outcomes. My work career has spanned both public and private sectors from ‘shop floor’ to senior and executive management levels and I am very much family oriented and have 4 wonder-full adult children and 10 wonder-full grandchildren.

I have lived and worked in Sydney’s inner city and outer metropolitan areas as well as in the regional and rural areas of NSW. These different cultural/‘tribal’ areas have given me a broad base of up close and personal, business and life experiences in the many and various socio-economic, and LGBTQI populations and with the associated many and varied values and beliefs . Each and every person’s journey is different and very, very special. I have also gained very considerable experience counselling tertiary education Millennial students many with multi-cultural backgrounds specifically from Asia, Europe, North America and South America.

My aim in counselling is to maintain always a warm professional and enthusiastic practice of counselling for ‘change’. I diligently focus in each session on consistently monitoring progress to ensure my practice is a best-fit for ‘you’ my client’s wants and needs relating to your/our goals.

In essence my hopes and my aims are to bring to my integrated practice all the necessary knowledge, skills, experience and expertise together to provide a warm, caring and dynamic and professional environment.
