About Heather

Heather has a professional background of 17 years in public health as a Cancer Specialist Nurse (Oncology/Haematology). Having spent many years (since the 1980’s) on her own personal healing journey and training in Mindfulness, Yoga, Energy Healing and Psychotherapy practices.

Heather uses a co-creative process working with your goals, to develop a solution focused plan with a range of mind-body techniques from psychotherapy to Energy Healing. Using the latest brain research in neuroplasticiy, Heather can help you by change the way you think, feel and behave with Mindfulness-based techniques, Hypnotherapy and Brainspotting. With Energy Healing, Reiki and Shamanic ceremony the energy feild is shifted to assist in changing the vibration and attraction feild within.

Heather has studied with many Internationally known trainers, such as Dr Micheal Yapko and Bill O’Hanlan in Hypnotherapy. Mindfulness, Somatic Therapy & Yoga have included Stephen & Martine Batchelor, Debbie & Eddie Shapiro, Ani Pema Chodron, A.G & Indra Mohan, Julie Henderson and Mark Breadner. Heather has experienced several silent meditation 10 day retreats in Vipasana and Zen traditions.

Hypnosis & NLP

Hypnotherapy, and NLP is a solution focused technique offering short term sessions. In 3-6 sessions you can make changes which improve your life. Hypnotherapy will integrate your sub conscious and conscious thinking to change limiting beliefs, or habits and challenge your negative sabotaging strategies. Heather will often combine hypnosis with mindful based techniques.

Mindfulness Therapy

Mindfulness-based interventions are a gentle way of exploring our inner world, in a co-creative therapy. Mindfulness is used during the session as it helps support the client to be present and witness what is happening in a compassionate way. Both client and therapist are held in mindful states working with what arises, in an atmosphere of curiosity, and acceptance.

In this state we can exploring the core processes (thinking, feeling, and moving, internal and external sensing) which allows us to discover the core material and belief’s which shapes our lives. This therapy is a powerful tool for transformation, working with the body, breath, and sound, and discovering creative ways to change beliefs and behaviour that hold us back.

Mindfulness-based psychotherapy is suitable for:

  • Integrating and resolving trauma experiences

Energy Healing

The Healer bridges the realms of heaven and earth to assist you with unresolved emotional states held within your energy consciousness system, physical and emotional bodies and deep within your brain. The energy vibration resonates to the “core “ of the stuck emotion or blockage, acting like a (harmonic) key which helps to unlock the blockage held within, bringing transformation with feelings of lightness, peace and joy to your life.

Support and nurture yourself during major life changes, periods of transformation and spiritual growth using Energetic Therapies.

Heather intuitively uses a range of techniques including; many forms of  energy work either on the physical body or in the auric energy field including:
