The lotus Centre is officially open!
Our open day was busy with everyone keen to try our classes, and experience the free mini treatments on offer. If you missed out we are planning another one at the end of September.
Yoga and meditation courses start next week (31st August), and are filling fast so book now to ensure your place. Remember there is a maximum of 8 students to ensure quality teaching, that caters to your individual needs. See the timetable below:

To celebrate our new beginnings our practitioners are giving away a FREE 15min consultation. You have the opportunity to try Kinesiology, Ayurveda and acupuncture and ask how we can help you. Reiki healing

The first Wednesday of every month is Reiki night. Reiki is a form of energy healing used for centuries by all cultures. Reiki is gentle, nurturing, and a safe form of non religious healing. Suitable for all, you don’t have to be sick to benefit. Come for an energy balance, rejuvenation or just for fun. Low cost Reiki healing by Reiki masters and students, only $45 for a 1 hour treatment.

Natural Birth Essentials and Pre-natal Yoga
Sunday 6th & 13th September 1.30-4.30pm
This workshop is for pregnant women and their birth partners. It is packed full of practical information, exercises and tips for an active, natural calm birth. Learn how to eliminate the Fear-Tension-Pain syndrome. Reduce the need for medication or epidural, shorten labour and eliminate exhaustion. When you learn Natural Birthing Skills to manage your birth process it greatly improves your chances of a drug free natural and positive birth experience. Starting with 45mins Natural Birth Education and 75 mins yoga, relaxation and meditation. Learn all you need to know about natural drug free birthing for only $150 for 5 weeks. Improve your digestion with Ayurveda
- Eat only when the previous meal has been fully digested.
- Wait at least two hours after the evening meal before going to bed.
- Avoid heavy foods such as ice cream, cheese, heavy proteins at night.
- Sit down at meal times, chew your food well, savour the tastes, do not rush. Enjoy silence or relaxed conversation when eating, avoid emotional upsets.
- Take time to select appropriate foods considering appetite, season, body type. (Discover your body type with a FREE 15min Ayurvedic consultation from Heather).
- Select fresh foods, locally grown and produced, free from additives and preservatives, and cooked with love.
- Avoid strong exercise, or sleep for two hours following a meal.
- Sip fluids throughout the meal avoiding carbonated drinks. Try a selection of caffeine free teas.
- Avoid frozen or very cold foods straight from the fridge.
- Avoid unripe foods, insufficiently cooked foods or leftovers.
