Nutrition and Herbs
Ayurvedic nutrition takes into consideration the individual body type or dosha (Prakriti) and any current imbalances (Vikriti), taste, season, climate, as well as the action and effects of the food on the body. Any dietary recommendations or herbal therapy is specifically designed for the individual or for a specific purpose.
Ayurvedic massage
This is an ancient Indian relaxing and balancing massage treatment according to individual requirements. An Ayurvedic practitioner will assess each person’s body type or Dosha (Prakriti) and determine the current imbalance (Vikriti). There are a range of Herbal treatments to harmonize the body and mind. Ayurvedic Massage firstly relaxes the muscles with a soothing massage, then stimulates marma points (similar to acupuncture) to work deeper. Ayurvedic medicated herbal oils and essences balance and correct the Dosha’s. This type of massage nourishes the body and stimulates inner resources for self healing to restore or maintain health.
